International provider of no risk auction items for non-profit fundraising events helps a record number of charities in August 2012.

Fort Lee, New Jersey – September 12, 2012 – No risk auction items provided by Charity Fundraising assisted 132 non-profits in need last month alone. In today’s tough economy, non-profits across the globe have seen a steep decline in giving and Charity Fundraising is proud to offer its assistance to help these non-profits not only meet, but exceed their fundraising goals.

Phillip Ryan, Director of Media Relations at Charity Fundraising shares, “We were amazed at how many non-profits our no risk auction items helped in August of this year.  Last year we assisted 74 non-profits and this year we blew that number away and added 58 additional charity partners. The final numbers are not in yet, but we raised well over $300,000 for non-profits in August.”

August brought about the return of a long time charity partner, The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.  Stephanie O’Hara, 2012 Auction Chair for The Big Taste of Norman Fundraiser comments, “Our auction was a huge success. In fact, the live auction alone raised over $50,000. We sold every piece from Charity Fundraising which included 10 no risk auction items and 3 additional items that were purchased by our under-bidders.”

Many may not be aware that Charity Fundraising also sponsors over 200 annual fundraisers in Canada by providing no risk auction items.  Ryan further comments, “We were excited to partner with the Ottawa Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada for their Tee It Up for CF Golf Tournament. Our celebrity and sports memorabilia was a huge hit at this years event and brought in thousands of dollars in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.”

In addition to their celebrity, music and sports collectible items, Charity Fundraising also offers vacation packages like trips to Disney World, Italy and Costa Rica as well as VIP experiences such as a Super Bowl, World Series or Grammy Awards experience package. In August, the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund hosted their annual celebrity driven Pink Penguin Bash held in the Hamptons.  They successfully auctioned off America’s Cup Stars & Stripes Experience as well as a NASCAR Car Racing Experience.

Charity Fundraising looks forward to providing more non-profits in the future with creative and exciting no risk auction items and assisting in the fight for so many worthwhile causes.
